Technical and methodological clarifications for an accurate interpretation of our studies.
Refers exclusively to the mass per unit area (g/m²) measured under controlled environmental conditions (23°C ± 2°C, 50% ± 5% RH). Published values are averages of a minimum of five representative samples. It does not constitute a direct measure of the final product's opacity or durability.
Reported coefficients (e.g., αw) are derived from impedance tube measurements according to ISO 10534-2 standard, in the frequency range of 100 Hz to 6300 Hz. These values are specific to the test material in its laboratory configuration and may vary significantly with mounting, air layer thickness, and room conditions.
Thermal resistance is calculated under steady-state conditions for non-metallized synthetic fibers. It does not include the effects of convection, long-distance infrared radiation, or performance under dynamic moisture conditions. The data is indicative of the base material's insulation potential.
All studies refer to technical materials developed for specific applications in textile engineering. The terms "manufacturing" and "processes" refer to laboratory and pilot-scale protocols, not commercial mass production. "Texture macros" are enlarged visual representations for analytical purposes.
